Asean Serbia, To implement the vision, ASEAN strives to maintain peace and stability, integrate the markets, and leave no one behind, through the three Community pillars: The ASEAN Political‐Security Community (APSC) aims to ensure regional peace and a just, democratic, and harmonious environment. The Association of Southeast Asian Nations, or ASEAN, was established on 8 August 1967 in Bangkok, Thailand, with the signing of the ASEAN Declaration (Bangkok Declaration) by the Founding Fathers of ASEAN: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. The enlargement of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations is the process of expanding the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) through the accession of new member states. It is a trade group of 10 countries in Southeast Asia that are competing together against China. The roots of ASEAN came from the ASEAN Declaration signed by five Southeast Asian countries in 1967. This includes participation in ASEAN meetings, dialogues and initiatives, which can contribute to diplomatic, economic and cultural exchanges. All Southeast Asian countries, many great powers, and international organizations have dedicated diplomatic presence near ASEAN headquarters in Jakarta. We underscored the importance of upholding ASEAN unity, Centrality and solidarity, while strengthening adherence to a rules-based regional architecture.
